The Justice Coalition (TJC) was born out of the ongoing U.S.-funded Israeli genocide on Gaza by a diverse group of Palestinians from the "Little Palestine" community and the greater Chicagoland area.

The void of a Palestinian voice in U.S. policy became apparent as the atrocities in Gaza and broader Occupied Palestine rapidly escalated. With no existing organization that solely focused on the US political landscape with clarity around Palestine policy and advocacy, The Justice Coalition was founded.

In mid-October 2023, the founders of The Justice Coalition convened to strategize and develop initiatives centered on building an alternative to counter the Zionist AIPAC lobby and its stranglehold on U.S. electoral politics.

Collaborated with existing organizations to visit the offices of elected officials, foreign embassies and political candidates. In addition, drafted and/or co-signed on communications to the President and Vice President of the United States.

Prior to the formalization of The Justice Coalition Action, the founders engaged in a number of community based activities that are aligned with the formal mission and vision of the The Justice Coalition Action

Collaborated with 3 existing organizations and/or campaigns to increase voter registration and turnout across State and Federal races during the Primary cycle.

Supported the re-election of Illinois State Representative Abdelnasser Rashid.

Raised over $500,000 to support 3 IL State Representatives and 3 U.S. Congressional Candidates who oppose the Israeli genocide and are aligned with TJC’s mission and vision.
